Who Is Maddy Siegrist?

Maddy Siegrist is an American college basketball player who plays the forward position for the Villanova Wildcats of the Big East Conference.

Born on May 22, 2000, Maddy earned a degree in communications at Villanova University, and is now enrolled in a master’s degree in education.

Before now, she played high school basketball at Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she was named Poughkeepsie Journal Player of the Year as a junior.

Maddy had at the time, recorded 21 points, 12 rebounds and four assists per game.

As a senior, Maddy averaged 32.7 points and 13.1 rebounds per game and won the Poughkeepsie Journal Player of the Year for the second time.

Her collegiate career in Villanova has been met with tremendous success. As a freshman, she recorded 18.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game and earned the first-team All-Big East and Freshman of the Year honors.

As a sophomore, she averaged 22.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game and was named to the unanimous first-team All-Big East selection.

She is currently Big East’s all-time top scorer in Women’s Basketball with 1,693 points.
