Who Is Lynval Golding?

Lynval Golding is a British musician with Jamaican heritage, famous for being the rhythm guitarist and singer in the British 2 Tone Records band, The Specials.

Born on July 24, 1951, in St. Catherine Parish, Jamaica, Golding doubles as a co-founder of the Fun Boy Three, together with Terry Hall and Neville Staple.

His way back Seattle-based band, Stiff Upper Lips, was later changed to Gigantor in 2013.

Golding has since done a number of collaborative works with the likes of Lily Allen, Terry Hall, Blur frontman Damon Albarn and beatboxer Shlomo.

Having performed in notable events such as the Glastonbury Festival and the Dunstaffnage music festival in Scotland, Golding has made a name for himself across the New wave, ska, and rock genres of music, and under Island Records label.

He now organizes music tours across the UK with his new band Pama International and has gone ahead to release three albums with the band. Although, he occasionally tours with The Specials and Gigantor.

Golding now resides in Gig Harbor, Washington.
