Luzuko Koti died on March 21, 2022, according to reports.

Nontobeke Mabitsela, a family spokesperson, confirmed the report. He did not, however, reveal the reason of death. The only thing we know about the 47-year-old is that he died after a short illness.
Luzuko was a former spokeswoman for the Nelson Mandela Foundation (Jan 2017 – Jun 2021). He was also the Executive Director of Oresego Holdings and an Assignments Editor for SABC, Channel Africa (Jun 2012 – Jul 2014).

He was also Director of Communications for Project Consolidate and Chief Director (Executive Manager) of Communications at the Department of Provincial and Local Government/Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs in the Republic of South Africa.
Many individuals shared their grief on social media after his death.
