Luke Jacobson stands tall at a height of 191 cm (6 feet 3 inches). Luke plays in the forward pack for the Chiefs in the Super Rugby competition and for the All Blacks.

Luke Jacobson made the New Zealand Schools team in 2014. Luke Jacobson played for the New Zealand Under 20 team in 2016 and in 2017.
Luke Jacobson made his mark in 1st XV rugby which in turn earned him selection in the 2014 New Zealand Schools team. Luke Jacobson made his All Blacks debut in July 2019, in the final quarter of a narrow 20–16 win against Argentina.

Luke Jacobson’s second test was a 92–7 win over Tonga and he was named in New Zealand’s squad for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. Jacobson was named in the 2021 All Blacks squad.
Luke Jacobson wore the captain’s armband for the first time in 2021 against the Melbourne Rebels. Jacobson captained the Waikato Under 19s in the Jock Hobbs Memorial National Under 19s tournament to victory.
