Lukas Van Ness Parents: Meet Jason Van Ness and Leanna Van Ness.

Lukas Van Ness is an American Football player who plays as an outside linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for the Green Bay Packers.

Lukas Van Ness was born on July 6, 2001, in Barrington, Illinois, to Jason and Leanna Van Ness. He also has three younger siblings, Devan, Ella, and Hanna Van Ness.

Sports run in his family, with all of his siblings participating. Devan Van Ness, his younger brother, plays for Barrington High School.

Lukas Van Ness’s father Jason Van Ness and his mother, Leanna Van Ness, both attended the University of Iowa. His father is a chiropractor who specialises in sports injuries.

Lukas Van Ness played college football at Iowa.  As a redshirt freshman, he started at defensive end and defensive tackle and had 33 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, and seven sacks.

At the end of the season, the Football Writers Association of America named Van Ness a Freshman All-American. He was named Big Ten Conference Special Teams Player of the Week during his redshirt sophomore season after blocking two kicks in a 10-7 loss to Iowa State.
