Cilenis and her husband Luis Manuel Diaz were traveling on Saturday October 28, 2023, when they were ambushed by gun men and kidnapped at gun point.
Cilenis has since been released, but her husband is yet to be found.
Luis Diaz Football Career
Luis Díaz made his senior international debut for Colombia in 2018 and has since earned over 30 caps for his national team.
He played a vital role in Colombia’s impressive third-place finish at the 2021 Copa América, where he was awarded the Golden Boot as the joint top goalscorer, alongside the legendary Lionel Messi of Argentina.

On the club side, Díaz has played for many teams, including Barranquilla, Atlético Junior, Porto, and now, Liverpool.
During the 2021-22 season, Diaz scored a stunning 14 league goals for his former club Porto in just 18 appearances. Liverpool, recognizing his potential, secured his services in a significant transfer worth €45 million (£37.5 million).
In his debut season, he played a pivotal role in securing the EFL Cup and FA Cup, and earned the title of “man of the match.”
