Lucianne Goldberg Cause of Death

Lucianne Goldberg, a literary agent and key figure in President Bill Clinton’s impeachment in 1998 over his affair with Monica Lewinsky, passed away at the age of 87 on October 26, 2022.

Lucianne Goldberg’s son Jonah Goldberg, announced on Twitter on Thursday, October 27, 2022, that his mother died at home on Wednesday. He did not specify the cause of death.

Lucianne Goldberg was a long-time conservative activist whose agency specialised in right-wing books.

She rose to national prominence after she advised her friend Linda Tripp to secretly tape Tripp’s conversations with Monica Lewinsky, a former White House intern who had a sexual relationship with Clinton.

Goldberg founded her literary agency to promote books that others would have avoided. In an article published during the fallout from the Lewinsky tapes, the New York Times described her as “an agent with a taste for right-wing, tell-all attack books.”

Her previous work included co-founding the Pussycat League, a group that campaigned against feminism and the Equal Rights Amendment in 1970.
