Louis Oosthuizen enters his 14th Masters after a 2021 season in which he factored prominently in the majors.

After a T26 finish at Augusta National, the South African finished runner-up at both the PGA Championship and the U.S. Open and then came third in the Open Championship at Royal St. George’s.
Oosthuizen, 39, has six runner-up finishes in the majors overall, including his best Masters performance, when he lost in a playoff to Bubba Watson in 2012.

The South African is the only player in Masters history with both a hole-in-one (at No. 16 in 2016) and a double eagle (No. 2 in 2012).

His ace ricocheted off playing partner J.B. Holmes’s ball before dropping into the cup.
Oosthuizen is a South African professional golfer who won the 2010 Open Championship.
He has finished runner-up in all four major championships: the 2012 Masters Tournament, the 2015 and 2021 U.S. Open, the 2015 Open Championship, and the PGA Championship in 2017 and 2021.
His highest placing on the Official World Golf Ranking is fourth, which he reached in January 2013.
Oosthuizen entered the 2010 Open Championship at St Andrews ranked 54th in the Official World Golf Ranking, and only having made one cut in eight major championship appearances.
He shot a 65 on the first day, placing him in second place, behind a 63 shot by Rory McIlroy.
