Lord Farquaad Death: How did Lord Farquaad die? What happens to Duloc after Lord Farquaad dies?

Lord Farquaad was killed by the Dragon. Following his death, the entire Duloc was abandoned and fell into disrepair as per the Halloween special, “Scared Shrekless”.

Lord Farquaad is a fictional character who appears in the 2001 DreamWorks animated feature  film “Shrek.” In the original Broadway production of Shrek The Musical, the role was played by Tony Award nominee Christopher Sieber.

Outside of the film series, Lord Farquaad appears in the Universal Studios Theme Parks ride Shrek 4-D and its comic book adaptation by Dark Horse Comics.

Lord Farquaad is obsessed with becoming a king and decides to marry Princess Fiona. He decides that Princess Fiona can be his perfect wife and queen, however, she is trapped in a tower guarded by a dragon. He organizes a tournament to find a brave knight who can rescue her and, ultimately, chooses Shrek to do the job.
