In ODI cricket, he holds the highest individual score for Bangladesh (176). Das, then 13 years old, competed for Bangladesh’s Under-15 team in the 2007–08 year. From 2009 until 2011, he played for Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan.

He was chosen for the Under-17s and Under-19s in 2010–11, representing the latter in the Under-19 World Cups in 2012 and 2014. He participated in 2013 as an under-23 player for Bangladesh. On June 10, 2015, Das faced India in his first Test match.
