Liton Das, a cricketer from Bangladesh who was born on October 13, 1994, is the team’s vice-captain at the moment. He bats right-handed and keeps wickets. In June 2015, he made his Bangladeshi debut abroad.

In one-day international cricket, he holds the best individual score (176) for Bangladesh. In the 2007–08 season, Das, then 13 years old, played for the Bangladesh Under-15s. He later played from 2009 to 2011 for Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan.

He was chosen for the Under-17s and Under-19s in the 2010–11 season, representing the latter at the Under-19 World Cups in 2012 and 2014. He represented Bangladesh’s Under-23 team in 2013 while still a youngster. On June 10, 2015, Das played in his first Test match against India.
