Nicolas Cage is an American actor and film producer. Born into the Coppola family, he is the recipient of various accolades, including the Academy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe Award.

Cage owns the production company, Saturn Films and has produced films such as Shadows of the Vampire (2000) and The Life of David Gale (2003). He also directed Sonny (2002), for which he was nominated for Grand Special Prize at Deauville Film Festival.

In October 1997, he was ranked at No.40 in Empire magazine’s The Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time list; and the next year, he was placed at No.37 in Premiere’s 100 Most Powerful People in Hollywood.
Cage’s second marriage was to singer and songwriter Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley. They married on August 10, 2002, and filed for divorce 107 days later on November 25, 2002.
The divorce was finalised on May 24, 2004.
