Lisa Bluder was a three-year starter for the University of Northern Iowa women’s basketball team, playing a total of 108 games, averaging 9.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.

During her playing career, Lisa Bluder’s 19 rebounds against Illinois-Chicago is second highest in school history. During her playing days at UNI, Lisa Bluder’s teams compiled a 57-30 record.

Lisa Bluder is a three-time Big Ten Coach of the Year (2001, 2008, and 2010) and two-time WBCA Regional Coach of the Year (2001 and 2008).
Lisa Bluder currently ranks 39th in career winning percentage (.692) for Division I active coaches. Lisa Bluder is the dean of Big Ten coaches and has posted a 396–217 (.629) record at Iowa.
Lisa Bluder was the head coach of the U.S.A. women’s basketball team at the 2015 Pan American Games held in Toronto, Canada from July 16–20, 2015.
