Born on August 3, 1963, in Maryland, USA, Walter began her journey in the entertainment industry with years of standup comedy, before she ventured into TV with the Fox Network comedy series, My Wildest Dreams.
Walter has so far appeared in many sitcoms and TV series such as Life’s Work, Emeril, Breaking News, Bruce Almighty, Shall We Dance, War of the Worlds, Watch Over Me, The Parent Trap (1998), Eddie (1996), and many more.
She has participated on the reality weight-loss competitive series, Dance Your Ass Off, and served as a judge on the reality TV series The Next Best Thing: Who Is the Greatest Celebrity Impersonator?.
In 2011, Walter published her comic memoir, The Best Thing About My Ass Is That It’s Behind Me. She also received the Virtuoso Award at the San Diego International Film Festival in 2022.
