Who Is Linda Motlhalo?
Linda Motlhalo is a soccer player who plays as a winger the Scottish club Glasgow City and the South Africa women’s national team.
Born on July 1, 1998, in Brandvlei, Gauteng, South Africa, Linda began her career with the South African club JVW FC, and has so far played for Houston Dash, Beijing BG Phoenix, and Djurgården.

She joined Houston Dash in 2018, and made 21 NWSL appearances for the team, scoring 1 goal.

In 2019, Linda began playing for Beijing BG Phoenix F.C. in the Chinese Women’s Super League, starting all 14 league games for Beijing, and helping the team to reach the semifinal in the Chinese Women’s Championship.
In 2023, Linda was signed to the SWPL 1 club Glasgow City, and has so far made 16 appearances for the club, scoring 3 goals.
Linda made her international debut for South Africa in 2015, and has so far made 52 appearances for the country, scoring 16 goals.
She has represented the country in many international matches including the African Women Cup of Nations, and COSAFA Women’s Championship.
