Linda Lewis Husband: Was Linda Lewis Married?

Neil Warnock is a music agent and the surviving husband of Linda Lewis an English vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist. The couple got married in 2004.

Before her marriage to Neil Warnock, Lewis married fellow musician Jim Cregan in 1977, but the couple divorced three years later. “We were apart too much – especially after Jim joined Rod Stewart’s band,” Lewis later admitted, “and we were both unfaithful.”

Linda Lewi died, peacefully at home, on 3 May 2023, at the age of 72. Her family confirmed her death on Wednesday night, with her sister Dee Lewis Clay sharing the news on social media.

“It is with the greatest sadness and regret we share the news that our beloved beautiful sister Linda Lewis passed away today peacefully at her home,” she wrote. “The family asks that you respect our privacy and allow us to grieve at this heartbreaking time.”

She is best known for her singles “Rock-a-Doodle-Doo” (1973), “Sideway Shuffle” (1973), and “Shoop Shoop Song (It’s in His Kiss)” (1975).

Linda Lewis worked with the UK folk-funk band The Paracosmos in 2023. Lewis provided additional vocals on their single “Earthling.”

The single was released in March 2023 and premiered on Gilles Peterson’s BBC 6 Music show. The song is her final single released during her lifetime.
