Leydi Figueroa Uceda is a Peruvian woman who is the wife of convicted murderer Joran Andreas Petrus van der Sloot from the Netherlands. On July 4, 2014, van der Sloot and Uceda married.

Sloot and Uceda met, according to sources, while she was selling products inside the prison.
When they married, Uceda was seven months pregnant with van der Sloot’s daughter. After an unsupervised encounter with Van der Sloot, Uceda became pregnant.
It was unclear whether this was permitted or even conceivable under Peruvian prison standards.

Uceda, born on September 19, 1989, gave birth to Dushy van der Sloot in Peru on September 28, 2014.
In 2020, Peruvian media identified Uceda as Van der Sloot’s girlfriend and said that the couple had conceived a son together. She, on the other hand, disputed it.
According to De Telegraaf, Van der Sloot stated that Uceda uses the birth control pill but had obviously forgotten to take it and that she would not get an abortion because of her Catholic faith.
Van der Sloot stated that he does not have genetic verification that the child is his, but he believes it is.
