Lee Jihan was a K-pop singer and actor. Lee Jihan rose to prominence after appearing on the second season of the popular reality singing competition series Produce 101, in which 101 contestants compete for the chance to join an 11-member K-pop group.

Jihan was signed to Pan Entertainment as a K-pop trainee at the time. He auditioned for the show with a cover of EXO’s Overdose and also sang Infinite’s Be Mine as part of a group performance.
Jihan left Pan after the show and went to work for Widmay Entertainment. Lee Jihan made his acting debut in 2019 after appearing on Produce 101, in the popular Korean drama series Today Was Another Nam Hyun Day.

Lee Jihan died on October 29th, 2022. He was only 24 years old at the time. Lee Jihan was one of those killed in the horrific crowd surge tragedy in Seoul, South Korea.
Lee Jihan was one of 154 people killed in the incident, which occurred on Saturday, October 29, 2022, in Itaewon, the capital city’s busy nightlife district.
