On January 19, 1987, Kohlberg parked at the end of a dead-end street in Winthrop, Massachusetts, across from Boston’s Logan Airport.

Lawrence Kohlberg was born on October 25, 1927, in Bronxville, New York, and grew up in Brooklyn. Kohlberg began his career as a professor at the University of Chicago, where he taught and conducted research on moral development.

Lawrence Kohlberg later became a professor at Harvard University, where he continued his research on moral development and also developed his influential theory of moral development.

In addition to his work as a researcher and professor, Lawrence Kohlberg also served as a consultant for various organizations, including the U.S. Department of Education and the World Health Organization.

Lawrence Kohlberg received numerous awards and honours for his contributions to psychology, including the American Psychological Association’s Award for Outstanding Scientific Contributions to Psychology.
