Despite facing challenges, including Cabello’s departure in 2016, Fifth Harmony became a chart-topping sensation, earning accolades such as “Group of the Year” at the Billboard Women in Music ceremony in 2015.
Post-Fifth Harmony’s hiatus in 2018, Jauregui delved into solo projects, collaborating with artists like Marian Hill, Halsey, and Ty Dolla Sign. Her distinctive voice and songwriting prowess caught the industry’s attention, leading to her signing with Columbia Records.
In October 2018, Jauregui unveiled her debut solo single, “Expectations,” marking the beginning of a new chapter in her musical journey. Subsequent releases, including “More Than That” and “Lento,” showcased her evolving style and versatility, blending Latin urban vibes with her soulful voice.
