Lauren Coffey Accident

Lauren Coffey, a dancer from Arden Hills, was in a serious car accident with five friends late Thursday evening, June 30, 2022. She was airlifted to HCMC and had several surgeries

The collision occurred on the 16800 block of Xylite Street around 11 p.m. Thursday.
Officials believe the teens were speeding when the vehicle collided with Crystal Baudoin’s tree.

According to the scanner audio, one of the teens was possibly ejected from the vehicle, and the vehicle was on fire when first responders arrived.  According to reports, some of the victims had to be extracted from the vehicle.

Payton Kaufman of New Brighton, Berit Hudson of Arden Hills, Landon Pederson of Blaine, and Brendon Hammer of Andover were the other passengers involved in the crash.

Lauren is a dancer at Mounds View High School in Minnesota. Lauren is a kind, fun, smart, and hardworking athlete, according to the head dance coach. Lauren is adored by our entire team and staff.
