Lauren Braxton was the daughter of Michael Braxton Jr. and niece of the Braxton sisters. Lauren Braxton died on 29 April in Maryland aged just 24, with initial reports claiming that her death was in relation to a heart condition.

However, an autopsy completed by the medical examiner’s office in Maryland found that a heroin overdose and fentanyl intoxication were the causes of Lauren’s death.

Lauren, who was the daughter of Toni’s younger brother Michael Conrad Braxton Jr., died on April 29 in Maryland. She was 24.

At the time, Michael told TMZ it was related to a heart condition, but the medical examiner later released a conflicting report of what led to her death.

The medical examiner’s office in Maryland now tells E! News that the autopsy has been complete and that the cause of death for Lauren is heroin overdose and fentanyl intoxication.
