Laufey Lín Bing Jónsdóttir, born on 23 April 1999 in Reykjavík, carries a diverse cultural background. Her father, hailing from Iceland, and her mother, a native of Guangzhou, China, paint a canvas of cultural richness.

A classical violinist herself, Laufey’s mother contributes a melodic thread to the tapestry of her daughter’s musical lineage, while her Icelandic father works for the International Monetary Fund, adding a touch of global perspective to the family dynamics.
