The brother of the late actress Aderounmu Adejumoke has called out actress Funke Akindele for failing to offer support despite sending condolences.

Aderounmu Adejumoke, known for her role in the comedy series “Jenifa’s Diary,” tragically passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 37.
Funke Akindele, upon learning of Adejumoke’s death, expressed her shock and sorrow, inquiring about her well-being. However, Adejumoke’s brother revealed that despite attempts to reach out to Akindele, she never responded.
In a post on Instagram, Adejumoke’s brother, using the handle xtra_pro_official, criticized Akindele for her lack of support. He mentioned that Akindele was called multiple times, yet she did not reach out.
He also stated that despite Akindele being informed through Pascal, she still did not respond.
The brother expressed disappointment in what he described as Akindele’s “eye service” and questioned why she was showing support now that Adejumoke had passed away.

He also praised other actresses, Rita Dominic and Sotayo Gaga, for their genuine acts of kindness.
The criticism comes amidst condolences pouring in for the late actress, highlighting the importance of genuine support during times of loss.
