Latavius Murray is an American footballer who plays as a running back for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL).

Born on January 18, 1990, in Florida, United States, Murray played high school football Onondaga Central High School in New York, where he was an All-league and All-Central New York selection for three seasons.
Murray had a successful collegiate career at the University of Central Florida (UCF), where he finished with 132 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns in his freshman year, and was an All-C-USA First-team selection as a senior.
Also in college, Murray made it to the to the “College Football Performance Awards All-Purpose Trophy Watch List, the College Football Performance Awards Special Teams Watch List, and the Doak Walker Award Watch List.”
In 2013, Murray was drafted by the Oakland Raiders as 181st overall pick in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL draft, and signed a four-year contract worth $2.26 million with the team.
