Larry Mahan, an American professional rodeo cowboy, had three children: Lisa, Ty, and Eliza. Despite being the popular cowboy’s children, Lisa, Ty, and Eliza chose a life away from the media spotlight, and as a result, there is no information about them online.

Unfortunately, their father died at the age of 79.
Mahan, who was born on November 21, 1943, began competing in professional rodeo at the age of 14.
Beginning in 1963, he competed in the Rodeo Cowboys Association (RCA).
From 1966 through 1970, he was World All-Around Champion five years in a row, and a sixth time in 1973.

The Great American Cowboy, a documentary about his 1973 comeback and competition with Phil Lyne, received the Oscar Award for Documentary Feature in 1974.
He had a difficult decade in the 1970s, winning an all-around title in 1973 but being sidelined by injury at times.
Mahan won six all-around titles, the last of which was not consecutive. His five consecutive all-around titles were not broken until 1979, when Tom Ferguson won his sixth consecutive title.
Mahan died at the age of 79 on May 7, 2023. At the time of his death, he was living in Valley View, Texas.
