Larry Lacewell was an American football player, coach, scout and college administrator. He served as the head football coach at Arkansas State University from 1979 to 1989. He was born on February 12, 1937.

In 1990, he became the defensive coordinator for the Tennessee Volunteers under Johnny Majors. He contributed to the program by winning the SEC championship and defeating the University of Virginia in the Sugar Bowl.
