Lance Lynn is a seasoned American professional baseball pitcher who is presently playing for the Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball. In December 2020, he joined the Sox. Lynn spent the two years before this with the Texas Rangers.

Early in his formal education, Lance began playing baseball. The Little League World Series of 1999 included him. He eventually led his group to the Central Regional Championship. Following high school graduation, Lynn received scholarships from a number of universities. He ultimately decided to attend the University of Mississippi. In his second and third seasons, Lynn was named All-State.
While winning the 4A state title, his team went 36-0 their senior year. In 2005, Lynn won the award for Gatorade Player of the Year.
