Lance Blanks, a former professional basketball player and executive who worked as an analyst for ESPN at the time of his death, was married to a stunning woman only known as Renee.

Lance’s wife, it appears, did not enjoy being in the spotlight, and as a result, there is very little information about her online.
Their wedding date is unknown, but they are thought to have been married for several years.
The couple had two children, daughters Riley and Bryn.

Lance Blanks’ Legacy
Blanks, who was born on September 9, 1966, was named Mr. Basketball for Texas in 1985 and went on to play collegiately at the University of Virginia and the University of Texas at Austin.

Blanks holds the record for the most points scored by a two-year player with 1,322 and is the eighth-leading scorer in University of Texas history. Blanks finished his Texas career as the all-time leader in steals and fourth in career scoring average with 20.0 points per game.
Blanks was a member of the Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Blanks also played in Europe for several seasons.
Blanks was the general manager of the Phoenix Suns from 2010 to 2013, a position he earned after five seasons as the Cleveland Cavaliers’ assistant general manager.
Prior to joining the Cavaliers, he was the San Antonio Spurs’ director of scouting.
Blanks worked as a television analyst for the Texas Longhorns on Longhorn Network from 2020 until his death in 2023.
Blanks died on May 3, 2023, at the age of 56.
