Kymberly Herrin Cause of Death

Kymberly Herrin, an actress and Playboy Playmate best known for her brief appearance as an enchanting ghost in “Ghostbusters” in 1984, has died at the age of 65.

Herrin died peacefully in her home in Santa Barbara, California, according to an obituary published in the Santa Barbara News-Press on October 28 2022.

Theresa Ramirez, Herrin’s niece, posted a photo of her aunt with her two late sisters on Facebook with the caption, “They are all together now.” Kymberly Herrin, Aunt “I adore you.”

While the cause of death has not been disclosed, Herrin’s family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in his honour to “further the research of the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.”

Herrin was a model and actress who appeared on magazine covers and in feature films. Her most memorable onscreen appearance was as a “dream ghost” in a montage midway through Ivan Reitman’s original “Ghostbusters.”

As a model, she appeared on the covers of Playboy in September 1982 and September 1983, after being named Playmate of the Month in March 1981.

Herrin is survived by her mother Billie Dodson, brother Mark Herrin, nieces Theresa Ramirez and Stephanie Ross, and nephews Brandon Herrin and Trevor Triegor.
