Kwesi Dawood: NDC’s Communication Director Denies Impregnating Daughter

Kwesi Dawood, the Central Regional Communication Director for the National Democratic Congress, has denied allegations levelled against him with regards to impregnating his daughter. The NDC executive also denied the abortion allegations levelled against him.

It was published in one of Ghana’s top newspapers, Daily Guide, that Kwesi Dawood impregnated his own daughter and made her daughter abort the pregnancy. Another allegation that was levelled against Kwesi Dawood was that he has been sleeping with his 15-year-old daughter since 2019.

 

In a statement made by the NDC Central Regional Communication Director, he revealed that there was no iota of truth in the allegation. Kwesi Dawood also stated that he is in line to file a defamation suit against the Daily Guide newspaper.

Kwesi Dawood’s statement reads: “I have taken notice of a publication by the Daily Guide newspaper of 11th October, 2021 alleging that I have impregnated my daughter and made her abort the pregnancy.

I wish to state unequivocally that the said publication is a false and malicious fabrication.

While I work with my lawyers to prove my innocence through the justice system and pursue a defamation action against the Daily Guide newspaper, I will like to appeal to the general public to treat the said publication and the allegations thereof with the contempt it deserves.
