Kurt Zouma is a father to four children. He and his partner Sandra Zouma and Kurt Zouma have two daughters, named Sihame and Sanaa. Their other two children are boys, named Ryan and Kais.

Kurt Zouma made his professional debut at 16 years old, on 31 August 2011 in a Coupe de la Ligue match against Bordeaux, playing the entire match in a 3–1 win.
On 24 September 2014, Kurt Zouma made his first competitive appearance for Chelsea, scoring the opener in a 2–1 win against Bolton Wanderers in the third round of the League Cup.

On 4 January 2015, Kurt Zouma scored the third goal for Chelsea in the 3–0 victory over Watford in the FA Cup. On 1 January 2020, Kurt Zouma marked his 100th appearance for the club as Chelsea drew 1–1 to Brighton & Hove Albion at Falmer Stadium.
Kurt Zouma is a France youth international having represented his nation at the under-16 and under-17 levels. Kurt Zouma was part of the under-20 team that won the 2013 World Cup in Turkey.
