The latest contributors to the project are Kuapa Kokoo and the Ghana Association of Garages Zone 13, who have made generous donations.

The organizations contributed GH₵100,000 and GH₵20,000, respectively, to support the Heal KATH Project.

Being a major health referral facility for 12 regions of the country, the hospital’s infrastructure and medical equipment are deteriorating, necessitating urgent renovations.

During a brief presentation event, Professor Otchere Addai Mensah, the Chief Executive Officer of KATH, emphasized the importance of expediting the project to enhance healthcare services for patients.

“KATH has always been the primary healthcare facility for a lot of Ghanaians and for that reason, the board of the project will seek to support this project to achieve its intended purpose,” he said.

Prof Mensah reaffirmed the hospital’s dedication to delivering quality medical care, assuring that every contribution made to the hospital project would be meticulously accounted for.

“With a rich history of providing quality services, the board of Heal Komfo Anokye Project will account for any contributions to ensure transparency.

“We are committed to the enhancement of healthcare infrastructure whenever necessary, and ensuring accessible and high-quality healthcare services to the people of Asanteman,” he said.

Eric Ahen, Chairman of the Ghana Association of Garages Zone 13, and James Agyekum Kwarteng, National President of Kuapa Cocoa Farmers and Marketing Union, spearheaded a delegation to present the donation at the hospital.

Professor Mensah, on behalf of the project board, expressed his deep gratitude to the group.
