KPAC Lalitha Cause Of Death

K.P.A.C. Lalitha, a well-known and well-loved 73-year-old Indian film actress, died recently. It is quite heartbreaking to learn about the actress’s untimely death, as she was primarily known for her work in Malayalam theatre and movies.

Lalitha has been suffering liver failure among other health issues for the past few months, according to sources.

Lalitha took her last breath at the home of her son, Sidharth, an actor and filmmaker.  Lalitha is survived by her daughter Sreekutty. 

Lalitha was married to Bharathan, a well-known Malayalam director who worked in the new wave cinema movement in the 1980s and died in 1998.

Unfortunately, this is devastating news for her family and the entire Malayalam cinema industry.

KPAC Lalitha was born in Kayamkulam, Alappuzha, Kerala, India, on February 25, 1948. Kadaykatharayil Veettil K. Ananthan, her father, was a photographer, and her mother, a homemaker. She grew up in Alappuzha’s Ramapuram, near Kayamkulam.
