Kodak Black Arrested: Why Was Kodak Black Arrested?

American rapper, Kodak Black has been arrested in Florida by the Florida Highway Patrol. He came to their attention after they caught him speeding in a purple Dodge Durango with an expired license plate and illegal darker window tints.

According to the police, the rapper also had in his possession “a controlled substance without a prescription.” He was also accused of trafficking oxycodone (a type of drug that treats pain and can be very addictive if not taken correctly)

“The police found a small clear bag that contained 31 white tablets of oxycodone and almost $75,000 in cash,” reports said.

Kodak Black’s attorney has shared that he would like to follow up with the case as soon as possible to get his client released.

“Never judge a case based on an arrest. There are facts and circumstances that give rise to a defense, especially in this case. We negotiated a bond of $75,000 and we will move forward with resolving the matter quickly,” Kodak Black’s attorney, Bradford Cohen said.
