Kjell Lönnå Cause Of Death, Obituary, Wife, Children

Kjell Lonna was a Swedish choir leader, composer and TV host.

Lönnå was one of the national conductors for the National Swedish Choir Association (Svenska körförbundet) and he is best known for hosting several national television shows from the late 1970s until the late 1990s.

Lönnå was a Baptist and is the writer of several hymns, at least one of which is included in the current edition of Den Svenska Psalmboken.

Lonna was also the host of the “Red Feather” fundraiser for charity which was broadcast live from the Sports Hall in Sundsvall in the autumn of 1989, and he participated as a contestant in both “Prisoners at the fort” on TV4 and in SVT’s “That’s how it should sound.

Sadly, Lönnå died on 10 May 2022, at the age of 85.

A cause of death was not given.

Lonna was married to Ulrika Lönnå.

Kjell’s wife Urika was born in 1943 in Stockholm, Sweden and she was educated at Konstfack – University of Arts, Crafts and Design.

Kjell and Urika’s children are; Karin Lönnå and Kristofer Lönnå.
