Christopher John “Kit” Hesketh-Harvey was a British musical performer, translator, composer, and scriptwriter who died on February 1, 2023.

He married actress/academic Catherine Rabett in 1986, and they have two children, Augusta and Rollo.
Sarah Sands, a former editor of the London Evening Standard and the Today program on BBC Radio 4, is his sister. He had homes in both Norfolk and Cornwall.
Hesketh-Harvey died abruptly on February 1, 2023, at the age of 65, it was stated.

In the BBC sitcom You Rang, M’Lord? she portrayed Cecily “Cissy” Meldrum. She was a member of Arlene Phillips’ revolutionary dance group Hot Gossip and appeared on The Kenny Everett Video Show.
Rabett was divorced from comedy actor and scriptwriter Kit Hesketh-Harvey before his death, and the couple had two children.
Rabett also works as a volunteer UK representative for GRUBB Forward, a UK-based charity providing tutoring at three schools for Roma children in Serbia.
GRUBB Forward also produces the GRUBB Show, a performance blending traditional Roma and contemporary music.
