American actor, famous for starring as Kevin “Ug” Lee in the Nickelodeon sitcom, Salute Your Shorts, Kirk Baily reportedly passed away on Monday (February 28, 2022) at the age of 59.

Working for more than 4 decades and till his death, he was also remembered as an accomplished voice actor who had appeared in anime and video games and did ADR looping for the small and big screen too.

He’s an avid fan of the New York Mets and used to attend games with his father at old Shea Stadium. He got feathers stuck in his throat during an episode of Salute Your Shorts and busted his eardrum in another episode and says he still has trouble hearing out of his left ear. He was an accomplished swimmer and baseball player in High School.
He made several unaccredited cameos on many daytime soap operas in the 1980s that was filmed in New York. He remains close friends with most of the cast members and production staff of Salute Your Shorts.
Kirk Baily’s cause of death is unknown at this time, but some social media users claim he died as a result of an illness he was just diagnosed with; speculations say he died of cancer.
