The game is designed in such a way that one can easily resume to the last game level played, without any need to start all over again.
The board game was designed by Adam Poots and was launched in 2015.
Poots had conceived the idea in 2008 when he was awaiting jury duty and reading through a rulebook for a role-playing game.
He had invested a sum of $10,000 from his personal savings into the project
In 2009 he was able to raise about $1700 for the production of one figurine.

As of 2010, Poots already had mass production of figures in the works, courtesy of an European artist whom he found.
The cost of the game begins from US$400 without the added expansions, but other board games typically cost lesser.
However, the game is worth the cost because the quality of the game’s production, particularly the miniatures were fabricated via 3D printers.
