They are the parents of Strictly’s Kevin Clifton and Joanne Clifton.
Keith Clifton
Keith Clifton is a co-director of ‘Cliftons Dance Academy’ in Grimsby, where he teaches children of all ages the art of dancing.
The four-time British champion competed in Latin America, United Kingdom and International Championships.
Keith and his wife, Judy are global dance tutors who have lectured in the International Dance Teachers Association.
The couple were winners of the Dancers’ Oscar, during their time, and now, Keith writes children’s books of short stories.

Judy is a co-director of Cliftons Dance Academy (CDA) which she oversees with her husband, Keith.
The former world number one dancer, has been married to Keith for over three decades.

Who Is Kevin Clifton?
Kevin Clifton is a British pro dancer and actor, famous for appearing on the BBC TV series Strictly Come Dancing.
Born on October 13, 1982, Clifton made his musical theatre debut in 2010, with Dirty Dancing The Musical, and later featured on Burn the Floor.
Clifton went ahead to star at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London’s West End, the record breaking Broadway run, and further appeared as a guest on Dancing with the Stars in the United States.
He also featured on the 5th Series of Hacker Time.
In 2018, Clifton and his popular partner, Stacey Dooley, won Strictly Come Dancing’s sixteenth series.
He still made appearances in the final rounds of Strictly in consecutive years, until he quit the show in 2020, to focus on other demanding aspects of his career.
