Keri Russell was born on March 23, 1976, in Fountain Valley, California, to homemaker Stephanie Stephens and Nissan Motors executive David Russell.

Her family moved frequently due to her father’s work, and they lived in Coppell, Texas, Mesa, Arizona, and Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Russell’s talent as a dancer earned her a spot in The Mickey Mouse Club.

Keri Russell began her acting career in the early 1990s. Russell made his television debut at the age of 15 as a member of the All-New Mickey Mouse Club variety show on the Disney Channel. She appeared on the show from 1991 to 1994, from seasons four to six.

Russell starred as the title character on the popular WB Network series Felicity from 1998 to 2002. She won a Golden Globe for the role in 1999.
