Kelsey Musgrove Obituary

Dr. Kelsey Musgrove, a surgeon at UW Health has died.

Dr. Musgrove was a cardiothoracic surgery fellow at UW Health.

Dr. Musgrove was found dead Sunday in Potato River Falls, where she was on a hiking trip. Authorities are investigating her death but foul play is not suspected.

Dr. Kelsey Musgrove had been hiking at Potato River Falls in Iron County and last had contact with people on March 26.

The Iron County Sheriff’s Officer received word on March 30 that Musgrove had not returned home to Middleton.

UW Health spokesperson Emily Kumlien issued a statement on the death of their beloved surgeon.

The statement reads;

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague Dr. Kelsey Musgrove,”

“She was recognized by her peers as a great surgeon, an outstanding mentor and an incredibly kind and positive spirit. Our thoughts and condolences are with her friends and family during this difficult time.”

Kelsey Musgrove’s family is yet to bring out details of her obituary.
