Kelly Monteith was an American comedian, actor, writer and producer. He was best known for writing and starring in the BBC comedy show, Kelly Monteith.

In 1983, Monteith performed at the Royal Variety Performance, before a nationwide tour. From 1987 to 1988, Monteith hosted the short-lived hidden camera television show, The Hit Squad in first-run American syndication.

In 2004, Monteith and Paul Bland were awarded the National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Award for Best Television Anchor/ Host by the Los Angeles Press Club.
In 2019, he wrote and starred in the six-part TV series, The Real Geezers of Beverly Hills, Adjacent, which was released on Amazon Prime Video.
He died on January 1, 2023, at the age of 80.
