Kelly Monteith, an American-born comedian whose observational wit and sarcastic sketches earned him a large following in the United Kingdom, died at the age of 80.

Marlise Boland, the executive producer of the Anglophile Channel, with whom he frequently collaborated, announced his death on Tuesday.
Monteith died on Sunday in Los Angeles, according to Boland. He had a stroke in 2021 and was also suffering from aphasia.
