James Righton is a British musician who is married to English actress Keira Knightley.

Keira and her husband met in February 2011. According to The Guardian, she met James at a party “via our mate Tim, not Alexa Chung, as people keep telling me.” We were extremely inebriated.”
“He’s the type of person who will be the brightest light in any room, whereas I’m the one who sits in the corner,” she added.
They tied the knot on May 4, 2013 in Mazan, France. For the ceremony, Knightley wore a Chanel knee-length grey tulle bustier gown with Karl Lagerfeld accessories.
Knightley wore a lace Valentino gown with pink floral embroidery to the couple’s second wedding ceremony for close friends.

James Righton was the keyboard player for the London-based new rave band Klaxons, which disbanded in 2015.
Righton’s debut solo album, The Performer, was released in March 2020 on Soulwax’s Deewee label.
In 2015, Righton scored Simon Amstell’s short film William. In 2018, he scored Amstell’s film Benjamin, and in 2019, he composed music for Amstell’s Netflix stand-up special “Set Free.”
