The recent long-term injury that Kealia Watt battled was her anterior cruciate ligament which kept her out of play for a number of months.
Kealia Watt was playing in the semifinals of the National Women’s Soccer League last season when she, unfortunately, tore her anterior cruciate ligament in a game that featured the Chicago Red Stars and the Portland Thorns.
Kealia Watt went through a series of treatments and she recovered fully and joined her teammates during the preseason camp.
