The Canadian women’s squad has been represented by former professional football player Kaylyn Kyle.
With 101 appearances, she is among the players with the most caps in Canada’s history. In 2012, the 34-year-old and Canada took home a bronze medal.

Kyle also played for Les Rouges in the Women’s World Cups of 2011 and 2015. During her professional career, she played for numerous clubs in numerous nations.
The former midfielder participated in leagues in America, Sweden, and Canada, where she was born. Kyle currently frequently provides MLS football commentary on Apple TV.
In Sweden’s top women’s league, Damallsvenskan, Kyle participated in 2009 with the Pite IF. She participated in 13 games and contributed one goal.
