As far back as the 80s and 90s, Ireland was a supermodel but didn’t stop there. She went into the film industry and made her acting debut in 1988, with the movie Alien from L.A.
From then, she went on to appear in several other films and TV shows such as “Melrose Place, Boy Meets World, The Larry Sanders Show, Muppets Tonight, Side Out, Mr. Destiny, Necessary Roughness, Mom and Dad Save the World, National Lampoon’s Loaded Weapon 1, Once Upon a Christmas, and its sequel Twice Upon a Christmas.”
Ireland owns the brand licensing company, kathy ireland Worldwide (kiWW), which generated retail sales of $3.1 billion in 2021, ranked number 15 in the world and gave Ireland a place in the Licensing Hall of Fame.
