Kathryn makes live broadcasts on the NBC Sports show, Football Night in America.
She has also broadcasted the Summer and Winter Olympic Games among many others

Born in Morristown, New Jersey on April 9, 1981, Kathryn attended Villa Walsh Academy, and later graduated from Rutgers University, where she studied journalism.

Kathryn was a four-time Academic All-American and Big East All Star as a Scarlet Knight.

Kathryn Tappen Career
Kathryn began her career with College Sports Television, where she worked as both a weekend anchor and weekday sports reporter.
She later joined the New England Sports Network (NESN), and subsequently, the NHL Network and the NBC.
Kathryn is a two-time nominee for the New England Emmy Awards for sports reporting, and was awarded the “Woman of Inspiration” award in 2014.
In 2016, she added a feather to her cap by clinching an Associated Press award for her feature Swim Meet.
