He is also known as the ex-husband f Kathleen Turner. Jay’s previous wife, Kathleen is an actress. Some of her known works include Body Heat, The Man with Two Brains, Crime of Passion, Romancing the Stone and many others.

Kathleen and Jay Weiss are no longer married. Jay and Kathleen tied the knot in 1984 and they had one daughter together. Turner and Jay divorced in December 2007, but Turner said Jay is still her best friend.

In an interview, Kathleen revealed that the reason behind their divorce was because of her guilt in that among them, she was the one putting less effort to make the marriage work.
